Notably, two of the regions of highest lncRNA densities (Figure 2) were the Epidermal Differentiation Complex (EDC, chromosome 1q21.3, 150–155 Mb) [39,40] and the Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC, chromosome 6p21.3, 26–34 Mb) [41], both of which contain psoriasis-associated genes [42]. The gene discussed is HLA-C; the disease is psoriasis.
