The factors related to initial coronary dilatation in Kawasaki disease was male sex (odds ratio [OR]: 1.73; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.48–2.03), older age (OR per 100 days increase: 1.03; 95% CI: 1.02–1.04), higher platelet count (OR per 10 000 cells/μL increase: 1.006, 95% CI: 1.001–1.01), lower albumin level (OR per 1 g/dL increase: 0.66; 95% CI: 0.56–0.78), and higher CRP level (OR per 1 mg/dL increase: 1.02; 95% CI: 1.01–1.04) (Table 1). Here, CRP is linked to Kawasaki disease.
