Our results showed that the expression of these genes increased by 3.6 to 3.9 fold and 2.2 to 2.5 fold with regard to BAX and BAK1, respectively, whereas the Bcl-2 level decreased by 0.4 to 0.8 fold i.e., significant (p < 0.05), as compared to β-actin in both cancer cells. The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is cancer.
