In this report, GSK3α promoted oncogenic K-Ras function in pancreatic cancer cells through stabilization of TGFβ activated kinase-1 (TAK1) and TAK1 binding partner (TAB) interactions and subsequent NFκB activation [10, 23], suggesting that both these isoforms may have unique roles in various cancers. This evidence concerns the gene GSK3A and pancreatic neoplasm.
