Our results showed that number of CD11b+ / Gr-1+ cells were significantly higher in the lung of control IgG-treated DJ-1 KO mice as compared with control IgG-treated WT mice (Fig. 5A), indicating an immunosuppressive microenvironment was established in the lung of DJ-1 KO mice, which is known to favor the growth of cancer [28].
