This study identified a network of Fcγ receptor 1 signaling correlating with transcriptional activity as the hallmark of gene expression in tuberculosis (7) and validated the previously reported (4, 8) functional gene clusters of immunoregulatory interactions involving the JAK-STAT pathway, sensing of microbial patterns by Toll-like receptors and IFN signaling. Here, IFNA1 is linked to tuberculosis.
