ROC curve analysis demonstrated a critical level of NGAL in the umbilical cord blood > 66.6 ng/mL, and this allows with 80% sensitivity (95% CI: 28–99%) and 89.5% specificity (95% CI: 72–99%) predicting AKI in newborns with HLHS (Figure 2).
