Therefore, we investigated whether lunasin could affect the activation of NF-κB. As shown in Figure 5, 10 ng/mL IL-1β caused a robust increase (2.73 fold) in NF-κB activity, while lunasin revealed an inhibitory effect on the activation of NF-κB in RA synovial fibroblasts in the presence of IL-1β induction.
