DUSP4 and colorectal cancer: Gröschl et al. [16] showed that DUSP4 was frequently overexpressed in colorectal cancer with high frequent microsatellite instability (MSI-H) compared to colorectal cancer with microsatellite stable (MSS) and suggested that DUSP4 may act as an important regulator of cell growth within the MAPK pathway and may cause enhanced cell growth in MSI-H colorectal cancer.
