CD14 and coronary artery disorder: In this study we demonstrated that CAD patients had significantly higher levels of urinary CD14 in spite of the fact that the levels of serum CD14 were found not to be different between CAD patients and healthy controls, which corroborated the previous study [20] in ruling out an independent relationship between CD14 genotypes or plasma levels of CD14 and risk of stable CAD in the studied cohort of population.
