Due to its stability and specificity, miRNA-210 has been used as a genetic marker for the early diagnosis and treatment of VEGF-associated diseases; however, the quantitative detection of miRNA-210 in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and serum in AD, particularly regarding the regulation of VEGF, has, to the best of our knowledge, not been fully elucidated. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and Alzheimer disease.
