The results showed that decreased expression of PTPN12 was significantly correlated with cancer T classification, N classification, distant metastasis, and clinical stage (P < 0.05; Table 1), and there was no significant association between PTPN12 expression and other clinicopathological features, such as patient sex, age, and cancer histological classification (P > 0.05; Table 1). Here, PTPN12 is linked to cancer.
