TYR and albinism: Albinism was observed in 80%, 63% and 21% of the offspring of albino females crossed to three different males injected with 16 pg mRNA, which were designated as m1, m2 and m3, respectively (Fig. 3B–E); these results imply that the tyrosinase gene was mutated in ∼21–80% of the spermatozoa.
