CD44 and ovarian cancer: Our study showed that CD44 and c-met were both highly expressed in 86 cases of OCCC; the positive expression rates were 90.7% (78/86) and 94.2% (81/86), respectively, and were higher than the positive rates (72.7%, 16/22; 86.4%, 19/22) in 22 cases of other ovarian cancer subtypes, consistent with the literature [18,19].
