Exogenous treatment of IL-6 robustly induced cell invasion of ovarian cancer cells in a dose dependent manner (IL-6 100ng/ml; SKOV3ip1, 4.27 ± 0.53 fold, RMG-1, 2.99 ± 0.46 fold), whereas the induction was almost completely inhibited by the pretreatment with anti-IL-6R antibody (Fig. 3A). Here, IL6R is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
