KLK3 and cancer: Of the 97 genes, 56 were identified to have a functional role in cancer, with enrichment for genes associated with prostate cancer that included: HNF1 homeobox B (HNF1B), kallikrein-related peptidase 2 (KLK2), kallikrein-related peptidase 3 (KLK3), lemur tyrosine kinase 2 (LMTK2), NK3 homeobox 1 (NKX3-1), and solute carrier family 22 (organic cation transporter), member 3 (SLC22A3).
