In these analyses, seven new RA risk alleles, i.e. IL6ST, SPRED2, RBPJ, CCR6, IRF5, and PXK, were identified at genome-wide significance, and three associated RA risk loci, i.e. IL2RA, CCL21, and AFF3, were refined [31]. This evidence concerns the gene SPRED2 and rheumatoid arthritis.
