DNAJC5 and malaria: Using a set of samples collected at four time points from a cohort of children followed up longitudinally for seven months, it was investigated whether a high concentration of antibodies against different pre-erythrocytic, blood-stage and cross-stage antigens, namely circumsporozoite antigen (CSP), merozoite surface protein (MSP)-3, apical membrane protein (AMA)-1, MSP-119 and glutamine-rich protein (GLURP-R0), alone or in combination, may be associated with protection from clinical malaria in a hyper-endemic area.
