This finding was corroborated by the additional analysis of the data set from Freed-Pastor et al. [49] where three separate biological clones of MDA-MB-468 breast cancer cells (carrying mutp53R273H) showed lower levels of BRCA1 and RAD17 transcripts compared to the relative stable mutp53 knocked-down clones (Figure 7F). This evidence concerns the gene RAD17 and breast cancer.
