In our previous study, an 18-gene signature (CD36, DHRS13, DUSP2, FAM198B, FKBP5, GLT25D2, GZMB, IL1B, ITGAM, ITPRIPL2, MYBL1, NEAT1, NUDT16, P2RY10, PDE4D, PDZK1IP1, SH2D2A, and VSIG10) was identified that could accurately differentiate between peripheral blood samples of CRC patients and controls. This evidence concerns the gene DUSP2 and colorectal carcinoma.
