CD109 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: Since a compendium of such molecular targets is vital for the development of novel targeted therapies, in this study we have used the cell-surface capture procedure to specifically identify glycoproteins residing on the cell surface of a pancreatic cancer cell line, BxPC-3, and validated the identification of a cell-surface protein, CD109, in human pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tissues by immunohistochemistry (IHC).
