Cagnard et al. [28] reported an elevation in IL-32 expression in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in contrast to osteoarthritis [28], and the severity of the symptoms was found to be correlated with high degree of expression of TNF-α, a potent inducer of IL-32 mRNA expression in human synovial fibroblasts. Here, IL32 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
