Our current study also found an important role of TR4 in tumor associated macrophages: TR4 in PCa cells may play a positive role to attract macrophage infiltration, the consequent crosstalk between PCa cells and macrophage may produce some changes in the tumor microenvironment around PCa cells, and these changes may alter the invading ability of PCa cells via different mechanisms. This evidence concerns the gene NR2C2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
