In summary, the present study successfully constructed a pLentilox3.7 FAK lentiviral vector and, through establishing the stably transfected cell lines, the in vivo and in vitro studies confirmed that the expression of FAK in SGC-7901 gastric cancer cells was reduced and the FAK-based signal transduction pathway was blocked, which could effectively inhibit the growth and metastasis of cancer cells. Here, PTK2 is linked to gastric cancer.
