Nonetheless, patient tumor-derived GRP94/gp96 as an autologous therapeutic vaccine has progressed the farthest in various clinical trials, starting in 2000 [reviewed here (126)] and has since included trials for patients with colorectal and pancreatic cancers, melanoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, renal cell carcinoma, and continues with Phase II trials for patients with high grade gliomas. This evidence concerns the gene HSP90B1 and melanoma.
