Third, to further elucidate mechanisms underlying the tumor suppressive effect of miR-146a, we overexpressed HAb18G, but without its endogenous 3′-UTR in SMMC-7721-miR-146a cells and found that the invasion was increased, which suggest that the regulation of miR-146a on migration and invasion in HCC cells is related to HAb18G inhibition. The gene discussed is BSG; the disease is neoplasm.
