ANXA2 and breast carcinoma: Annexin II is a member of the calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein family, plays a role in the regulation of cellular growth and in signal transduction pathways, and is overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma [23], colorectal cancer [23, 24], breast cancer [23, 25] and ESCC [23, 26], and has also been identified as a potential target for therapy [27, 28].
