CDH2 and neoplasm: From a clinical point of view, this report suggests that blockage of the ‘axon guidance' family and, more specifically, the SLIT2/ROBO pathway and its following signaling (as β-catenin/N-cadherin), may be a therapeutic approach to reduce PANR as well as consequent pathophysiologic impacts on PDA development and patient's fate (in the form of tumor recurrence and neuropathic pain).
