Several markers have been studied in odontogenic lesions, such as calretinin that can be used to distinguish ameloblastoma from other odontogenic lesions.4,11,(13-16) Also, it has been shown that cytokeratins (CK) are valuable markers for dif-ferentiating keratocystic odontogenic tumor (KCOT) from other cystic odontogenic lesions.16,17.
