In order to study the relationship between this leukocytic infiltration and tumor growth we evaluated the effect of depletion of CD122+ expressing cells (IL-2R-β i.e. NK and NKT cell) on tumor growth by an unique i.p. administration of TMβ1 antibody which results in nearly complete CD122+ cell depletion for 5 weeks, as judged by the absence NKp46+/CD3-cells from the spleen of sentinel mice (data not shown). The gene discussed is NCR1; the disease is neoplasm.
