CCL2 (CC motif ligand 2, also known as monocyte chemo attractant protein-1 or MCP-1) is a small cytokine that belongs to the Chemokines-chemotactic cytokines family, plays a pivotal role in the development and progression of PCa bone metastasis (Lu et al., 2006). This evidence concerns the gene CCL2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
