FAM151A was previously described to be present in plasma, urine, platelets and liver (http://www.genecards.org/), and RP11-407N17.3 has been described as a tumor associated antigen, cTAGE-5, found in cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and several other cancers [24], however the functions of both these genes are largely unknown. This evidence concerns the gene MIA2 and primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
