Krysiak et al. [53] published a case concerning primary hypoparathyroidism and T1DM, associated with positive anti-transglutaminase and anti-parietal cell antibodies, while Hsu et al. [54] reported a peculiar case of T1DM, anti-GAD-related dystonia, vitiligo, alopecia areata, and myasthenia gravis. Here, GAD1 is linked to type 1 diabetes mellitus.
