We found that that high PHD2 expression was significantly associated with higher stage (stages III + IV) (odds ratio [OR] = 5.576, P < 0.001), larger tumor size (>5 cm) (OR = 6.176, P < 0.001), poorer tumor differentiation (OR = 1.424, P = 0.003), and higher serum alpha fetoprotein (AFP) level (OR = 6.861, P < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene AFP and neoplasm.
