The principal findings of our study are that FOXM1 reduces the sensitivity of cells to anti-cancer drugs such as cisplatin and paclitaxel in vitro and that FOXM1 overexpression in tumors predicts cancer progression and unfavorable prognosis, especially in young EOC patients, patients with serous histology, and patients receiving platinum-paclitaxel combination chemotherapy. Here, FOXM1 is linked to cancer.
