MET and urinary bladder cancer: Consistent with the relatively low frequency of MET gene mutation in the four TCGA bladder cancer datasets (11/569 cases or 1.9% combined), the small molecule Met inhibitors crizotininb, cabozantinib and EMD1214063 uniformly and potently suppressed Met and Met-effector activation, and HGF-driven invasion, growth and soft agar colony formation in all UC cell lines tested.
