In accordance with the immunohistochemistry, we found hypomethylation (3.9% and 6.7%, respectively) of TWIST1 and TWIST2 in the high-grade budding cancer that stained positive for the proteins and a considerable hypermethylation (30.3% and 42.2%, respectively) of TWIST1 and TWIST2 in the low-grade budding tumor that stained negative for the proteins (Table 1).
