After retrieving the omics snapshot for visualization (Fig. 2a) and zooming into the KRAS gene (Fig. 2b), we can immediately see that KRAS is significantly mutated in CRC, does not have significant copy number or methylation changes, and is down-regulated at both mRNA and protein levels in tumors compared with normal colon biopsies. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and colorectal carcinoma.
