Disturbing miR-182 and miR-381 inhibits the expression of BRD7, arrests glioma cells in the G0/G1 phase of the cell cycle, inhibits glioma cell growth and induces differentiation of glioma cells to astrocyte-like cell by upregulating LRRC4/NGL-2 and suppressing the LRRC4/NGL-2-mediated binding of AP-2/SP1/E2F6/c- Myc to BRD7 in ERK/MAPK and PI-3 K/AKT signal pathways [43, 45].
