KLK3 and chronic kidney disease: Six months after beginning the new treatment, the PSA exhibited a substantial reduction (48.57 ng/mL; Figure 1), an improvement in renal function was observed (blood urea nitrogen 45 mg/dL, creatinine 2.1 mg/dL, and creatinine clearance 32.14 mL/min [stage 3B CKD]), electrolytes were normal, and the patient reported a reduction in bone pain with a decrease in analgesic consumption and an improvement in performance status.
