A high percentage of CD68+ TAMs was observed in 43.8% (7/16) of thymic carcinoma samples and 30.2% (16/53) of thymoma samples (including 3 type A, 3 type AB, 5 type B1, 2 type B2 and 3 type B3), which were not statistically significantly different (p = 0.904) (Table 3a). This evidence concerns the gene CD68 and thymoma.
