After adjustment for age, gender, BMI, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and positive family history, PCSK9 was significantly related with TC (β = 0.215, p < 0.001), LDL-C (β = 0.197, p = 0.001), apo B (β = 0.245, p < 0.001), apo A-I (β = 0.137, p = 0.025), intermediate LDL-C (β = 0.152, p = 0.013), small LDL-C (β = 0.179, p = 0.004), and LDL score (β = 0.121, p = 0.043). This evidence concerns the gene APOB and Hypertension.
