MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells were stimulated with 50 μM ZA, RIS, IBN, or ALN, respectively and co-treated with 50 μM carbenoxolone (CBX), a blocker of PANX1, 100 μM novobiocin, a blocker for solute carrier family 22 member 6, 8 and 11 (SLC22A6, SLC22A8, SLC22A11) and 50 μM ibrutinib, an inhibitor for multidrug resistance associated protein 1 (ABCC1) for 72 h.
