CXCL3 and endothelial dysfunction: As an ELR+ CXC chemokine, CXCL3 was chemotactic for neutrophils and pro-angiogenic subtances [29]; therefore, a low CXCL3 expression in preeclamptic placenta may contribute to maternal endothelial dysfunction and incomplete remodeling of uterine spiral arteries during placentation, which need further experiments confirmed.
