Elevated plasma levels of IL-4 were correlated with risk of acute myeloid leukemia, melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, non-small-cell lung cancer, prostate, colon, breast, renal cell cancer [37–40], and were associated with poor prognosis in non-Hodgkin lymphoma [41]. The gene discussed is IL4; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
