Orai1 and STIM1 were reported to promote cell proliferation, migration, invasion and apoptotic resistance in breast cancer [15], glioblastoma [64], prostate cancer [65–67], hepatocellular carcinoma [14], esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) [68] and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) [69]. This evidence concerns the gene STIM1 and breast carcinoma.
