Based on the fact that chromosome 10q locus is frequently deleted in gliomas and INPP5F gene is located in Ch10q26.11, we first examined if INPP5F is one of these highly altered genes, by looking for naturally occurring alterations within the INPP5F locus that could affect INPP5F expression and/or activity in gliomas. This evidence concerns the gene INPP5F and glioma.
