In addition, we observed that not only RA patients with active disease but also RA patients in remission, demonstrate an increased frequency of cTfh defined as CD4 + CXCR5 + ICOS+ T cells [16,18,19], together with an overrepresentation of cTfh subsets bearing a B cell helper phenotype (Tfh-Th2 and Tfh-Th17).
