After determining the levels of miR-143/145 and the protein levels of IGF1R in six pairs of colorectal cancer tissues and corresponding noncancerous tissues, we showed that miR-143 and miR-145 levels were consistently downregulated in colorectal cancer tissues (Figure 1B), whereas IGF1R protein levels were dramatically higher in the colorectal cancer tissues (Figure 1C and 1D). This evidence concerns the gene IGF1R and colorectal cancer.
