When the gene targeting therapeutic strategy of Hsp70 gene expression mediated by the Survivin promoter-regulated oncolytic adenovirus was applied to HCC treatment, it was found that the oncolytic adenovirus could obtain a high proliferative activity and a high expression level of Hsp70 in Survivin-positive HCC, and it could strengthen the killing effect on cancer cells without significant toxic exposure for normal cells [4]. This evidence concerns the gene BIRC5 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
